Art gives me the freedom to express my deep emotions in a meaningful and safe way. I hope to inspire others to open their minds creatively.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is mixed media, using materials that are least expected, such as inexpensive paint and wood from a dollar store.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my deepest moments of reflection. Life is complicated, and putting my emotions to work helps to release anxiety. I find that negative emotions such as anger can be beautiful on canvas, and it's the safest way to release them.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in land to grow an heirloom tomato farm, including space to create more art. I would love to make the land a community hub where people can learn about sustainable agriculture while finding their own creative spark through nature.
