I like to create characters and creatures that give off a bit of personality. I prefer to work in pen and ink as I have always appreciated that style.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from anything that reflects light and enjoy trying to figure out how to present different textures in an interesting way using just black and white. I study various artists from the past to present and regardless of subject matter, I like to study how they render different subjects.
What would you do with $25,000?I have 6 children and a new grandson, so I would most likely divvy it up to them and keep some to continue to fund my going to conventions and shows. It would help me get the items I would need to set up at outdoor art shows and festivals.
