Drawing is my favorite way to create art. I call it “taking the vapor of dreams and turning it into a dance of lines on paper.” The creation of image is so immediate with drawing.
Where do you find inspiration?The figure is an endless source of inspiration for me. I also have a love of Art History. Northern Netherlandish Renaissance Art is one of my favorites for seeding my imagination.
What would you do with $25,000?I would give 10% to charity and then I would either upgrade my studio or I would return to Paris for an arts filled visit. I once promised my wife I would take her to Paris but we haven’t been able to work that out so far. It would be great to keep that promise.
