Receive Text UpdatesI work across both abstract and figurative styles, though my artistic practice is predominantly centered on abstract painting.
Where do you find inspiration? My work is not rooted in a single source of inspiration. While each piece may begin with an initial idea, it often evolves organically throughout the creative process. I believe that meaning emerges through the act of making itself; it is in the process of painting that clarity develops. For this reason, I see the essential step as simply beginning—allowing the ideas and direction of the work to unfold in real time.
What would you do with $25,000?f I am fortunate enough to win the prize, I plan to use part of the money to build my own art studio—a space where I can create ambitious projects and also offer workshops to the community. I also intend to dedicate a portion to support emerging artists, providing them with mentorship and resources. Another part I would use to collaborate with a nonprofit that supports art education in underserved communities.
