Art has been therapy. I started with photography in highschool. Sketching came next. Then exploring paint. Thinking creatively helps.

Photography, painting, and sketching. Abstract is my favorite form of art. Especially when it comes to sketching and painting. My painting can be very raw. I like to pull order from chaos. As well as mix the two in one piece in various ways. Photography it is fungus and nature hands down my favorite thing to photograph. I also love just staying in the mindset of just keeping my eyes open and taking the time to stop (in the middle of just about anything) in order to take the photo.
Where do you find inspiration? In letting out what is inside me in a creative healthy way. I also collect fungus photographically. The inspiration is in the hunt to find them as well as the peace I find in the forest doing so. The rest of my photography is about being present and getting that shot. Sketching is mostly I pick colors and I just start to draw. Everything builds from there. The last year learning paint I just love the mess the joy and peace I find in said mess. The place I go is inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?I am on disability, my art is therapy for me. Part of my everyday struggle is to make ends meet financially. This would help me get stabilized on a great many things as well as contribute to my future artistic endeavors.
