You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I lean towards illustrative, sequential scenes, or stand alone ink, watercolor, or oil. I sometimes enjoy drawing on napkins with good ol fashioned bic pen. I am fascinated by anatomy, human anatomy and animals. But also love the abstract. I love sequential illustrative art, such as graphic novels, manga, and animation. I consider animation a moving painting that can talk to you and absorb you inwith its story with motion. Story telling, mixing text, sequential scenes, color, composition, etc.
Where do you find inspiration?Diego Velasquez. Norman Rockwell. Katsuhiro Otomo, Masamune Shirow, Yokinobu Tatsu. Leonardo Da Vinci, MichelAngelo. I find inspiration in people, their individual stories, in technology. I read a whole high school physics textbook (when I was in high school ) for fun and answered all the questions. Nature, biology, fascinates me. The order within the chaos, or what seemingly looks like chaos. Computers, AI. Science Fiction, Fantasy. Music= Alphaville, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Andean.
What would you do with $25,000?Likely invest it for the long term. Art Supplies.
