I love photography because it allows me to pause time in places that are constantly changing. Landscapes, especially, remind me that beauty doesn’t ask for attention—it simply exists, waiting to be noticed. Through my lens, I’m drawn to quiet moments of light, texture, and atmosphere, preserving a feeling that might otherwise pass unseen. Photography gives me a way to both observe and honor the world around me.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the quiet, often overlooked moments of the natural world. Changing light, shifting weather, and the subtle textures of the landscape constantly draw me in. I’m inspired by how a familiar place can feel entirely new with a different sky or season. My work is driven by a desire to capture those fleeting, in-between moments that invite people to slow down and truly see.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000 prize, I would invest in expanding my landscape work—traveling to new locations, upgrading essential gear, and dedicating focused time to creating a cohesive body of work. I would also print and exhibit my images, allowing others to experience these places in a tangible way. This opportunity would help me grow both creatively and professionally as an artist.
