I create art to feel complete. Whenever I start a project, everything else just fades away and I feel like I'm exactly where I belong

I love creating all types of art and continuing to explore new mediums and subjects. I really enjoy portraits because I get to feel like I am representing the life and personality behind the artwork not just what they physically look like. As I explore more landscape art, I am finding similar fulfillment in trying to bring viewers into a feeling not just looking at a picture.
Where do you find inspiration?I find Inspiration all around me. The world is full of so much beauty that we overlook every day as we hurry through busy lives full of deadlines and unattainable expectations. Stopping to notice a beautiful sunset, the beauty of flowers in bloom, or the connections we create with other beings are all things to celebrate and I find art isone of the best ways to appreciate life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to open a studio/maker's space where local artist could come together, teach classes, collaborate and just be artist. In a where where real connection is disappearing and mental health is declining, I think a place that fosters connection and creativity could be a lifeline.
