Currently, my favorite type of art is acrylic painting, in a genre I call Southwest Surrealism. The American Southwest is my favorite locale, for its history and landscape.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration ranges from my childhood, watching western films, in which the landscape has been a major character, my archeological research into that area and the American mythology which was carved out of history and creative film-making.
What would you do with $25,000?The $25,000 would allow me to spend more of my time visiting the natural sites that would deepen my physical connection to the southwestern (US) region and research deeper into the lives shaped by that landscape.
