I love to do abstract realism pieces, starting loosely with spray paint and inks, and I almost always finish with oil paint. Oil is king!
Where do you find inspiration?I am inspired by connection, community, and love, and my beginning point is always color. I work in several series at the same time with a theme, and I use color to pull out the nuances.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to create an artist co-op where we gather to use our skills to benefit various programs in our local communities here in the twin cities area. I would like to work with local organizations that would benefit from art and artists in helping them achieve their missions.
