My favorite type of Art inspires ACTION - especially Public Art reaching large numbers of people. If what I create and the message it carries encourages others into acts of KINDNESS - it's done its job. Even small acts can change a life. Let’s help artists create their own BE KIND artworks and murals. Importantly, let's all get together each month - every SECOND SATURDAY - with friends in our neighborhoods to do GOOD: Pick up trash at a park or beach; aid others.

I find inspiration in the Good In Us…In interviewing people around the world, across many different cultures, on what KINDNESS means to them and witnessing the natural concern and care they have for each other. I'm inspired by how art - and human expression in all its forms - can provide lessons & new perspectives, emotional support, healing, and communication, connecting minds and hearts over large distances spanning thousands of miles, and thousands of years.

I will not retain any of the $25,000. All proceeds will support artists globally to paint BE KIND murals in local languages with community input and participation on deserving walls - like the ones I painted over the last year - at Orphanages, Medical Clinics, Women's Centers, Animal Sanctuaries, and Schools. Perhaps we can make KINDNESS & "SECOND SATURDAYS" a global movement, reaching beyond THE PEOPLE'S ARTIST to media and publications in towns and villages worldwide bringing us together.
