I create art to turn emotion into something visible—capturing beauty, healing, and the stories words cannot hold.

I started off with pen and ink drawings, then paintings (oil and acrylic) and now I am into woodburning/pyrography with mixed media. I love abstract art, figures and faces..I love to draw faces. Really—expression of whatever is on my mind at that moment.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration where science meets emotion. As an artist, I’m inspired by healing, human connection, and the quiet beauty in everyday moments. My Bengali heritage, resilience in others, and the confidence people regain through care all shape my work. Art helps me turn observation into meaning.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my growth as an artist and create a body of work that fully reflects my vision. With better tools, space, and mentorship, I could push my ideas further. I’d also use part of it to share my work through a small exhibition, creating a space for connection and conversation through art.
