I work across multiple mediums, creating physical works in sculpture and painting that I extend through augmented reality, transforming each piece into an immersive experience. My practice explores identity and transformation through layered forms that exist between the physical and digital.

I’m inspired by transformation, healing, and storytelling. I’ve always been drawn to interactive art. Such as video-based installations of Bill Viola. I am deeply inspired by the human form, which is central to my work. Wangechi Mutu’s exploration of mythical female figures resonates with my own practice, where I create hybrid, mythological forms that reflect identity, transformation, and strength.

Ultimately, this opportunity would enable me to grow as an artist by dedicating focused time to developing new work. I would invest in both traditional materials and expanded production tools, including high-quality paints and a silk printer, to create layered physical works that serve as the foundation for my immersive experiences. I would also invest in digital displays, projection mapping systems, and motion-sensing technologies to create more complex interactive and generative environments.
