Troi Parham

I love to create art purely because I enjoy sharing my talent. I love the thought of making the world more beautiful piece by piece.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite art to create is typically huge mixed media pieces with mainly oil paint or watercolor and or digital paintings, but every now and then I love to "photo-bash" with my sports and concert photography.

Where do you find inspiration?

My inspiration draws from my synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon I was born with. In around 7th grade I began to notice these subtle hallucinations I would see in day to day life that would change with my state of mind. Sounds would have shapes and colors, tastes would have colorful visuals etc. This alongside my tritanomaly, psychological well-being and vivid imagination has allowed me to create my very own language I’ve used to personify what goes on inside my head.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use $25,000 to fund more art, bigger projects in the future and going to college as an aerospace engineering major. With whatever is left from that would go into creating a business to sell my art, taking care of family and pets and personal endeavors.
