My art is how I experience the world—a study of myself and the human condition, a form of prayer, and my way of loving and connecting.

I’m drawn to collage-like, surreal self-portraits—improvising with whatever I find. I love quick sketches and caricatures that spark a smile, a brief connection. I also shape sculptures from discarded materials and clay. I’m always experimenting—trying to create, to feel part of something larger—playing god for a moment, then humbling myself in knowing I never could be.
Where do you find inspiration?I create from connection—to self, to others, to God—tracing the human condition in every mark. Each piece is a signal from a lost astronaut; when it’s heard, there’s relief, then the knowing we are all adrift. I’m moved by hope, by gratitude, by the shift from lost to found—though the ego is always there, quietly wrestling in the dark.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to pursue a Master’s in Fine Arts. I’m a student at heart, always searching like a lost astronaut sending signals into the void. Art is how I’m heard, and how I hear others. A formal program would sharpen my practice and place me in a community of fellow seekers—people I can learn from, grow with, and share this fragile, beautiful need to create and connect.
