2 reasons I create art are to therapy myself, and to invoke emotion through visuals. My art feels like it can come to life when you see it.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create are conceptual pieces. I love the intricacy of visually telling a story without having to use many words. Creating esoteric images that resonate with fans and those in the know.
Where do you find inspiration? Most my inspiration comes from pop culture and urban life. I’m also someone who loves the elegance of vintage/MCM furniture, hence the ornate frames I use which is one of my signatures.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to create larger pieces and dive deeper into my craft. I would invest in a larger studio space to do so. I would work with new materials and create works that have been brewing in my mind, but haven’t been able to execute due to lack of funds. I would also create a cohesive collection to showcase at an art exhibition.
