Art has always been my safe space. Growing up was hard, and I struggled to express myself with words, so I turned to creativity instead.

My favorite type of art to create is graphic art. I love the complexity and endless possibilities of digital design. I’ve made shirt designs, album and single covers for local artists, and pop art. I also enjoy sketching. In school, I loved creating little sketch figure storylines on the sides of my assignments. Art has always come naturally to me.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is a beautiful thing. I’ve never been able to force it, because that only leads to artist’s block. Real inspiration comes from living life. I find it in random moments. Watching my daughter be free and happy inspires me. Hearing my boyfriend dive into his music does too. Even something as simple as an empty Whataburger cup flipping across the highway can spark an idea.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were lucky enough to win, I would use the money to support my family. I’d catch up on bills, help fund my daughter’s schooling with a tutor, fix our car engine, and get her a new bed. I’d also stock the fridge and pantry. My goal is to create stability so we can work toward our own place. Above all, I want to give my daughter a safer, happier, and more structured life than I had growing up.
