Versatile, and do it for the love of it. I sculpt, paint, and can fix almost anything. I challenge myself to make something from nothing!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
A mix of organic from nature and anything lying around that resembles the shape and dimensions needed. Female and nautical art, sculptures, paintings, realistic and useful. Something that makes you do a double take. But not too outrageous.
Where do you find inspiration?Everything is beautiful in the natural world, my main source of inspiration is the lack of money, most of the time I don't have the funds to buy something i want, so i create it or its likeness. Sometimes its better, sometimes its close. But I can honestly say, everything that i have ever made, will outlive me and my children. Which is the goal. I live in a rural area in Kentucky and it could use some inspiration. I want to show people in this area how beautiful art can be.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to recreate mid century modern art lamps. But with modern twists, like phone charging, smart accessories. The Reglor of California and the Continental art lamps were truly breathtaking. We don't have that style and design in our modern day homes. I think they are the perfect example of a useful piece of artwork. The next generation of young people need to be inspired by something, and I think they are the perfect "gateway drug" to art.
