I love creating paintings with symbolism and allegory. Sometimes with hidden orientation that can be seen upside down. Sometimes with meanings that can only be understood after encountering a particular poem, ancient culture, or book of wisdom. Whether it’s oil paint on a fine canvas, or graffiti on a wall, my favorite thing to make is people think.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most inspiration from life and traveling. I try interpreting my own personal struggles, life lessons, and the lives of others. Then I enjoy pulling subject matter from religion, mythology, folklore, and the animal world. Combining them into occulted message is what I strive for.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to open my own art studio and gallery. Where I can create everyday and provide lessons in painting, sculpture, tattoo, and philosophy for the community. Art, therapy, culture and the love of wisdom all in one place.
