Tzatra

I’m happiest when I’m creating. I enjoy being able to present something from an image I see in my mind and showing the world how I view it.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

Mixed media and Halloween decor. In recent years, all of the Halloween decor I’ve made is from recycled/upcycled materials. I strive to make my decor reminiscent of what I used to see while growing up, in hopes to channel some of my memories through my art for future generations.

Where do you find inspiration?

My mom, nature, childhood memories, Ancient Egypt/Greece, Halloween. I also find inspiration while listening to music as well as creating music. I’ve made homemade visual videos to go with the music I make, to sort of bring my physical art and visions to life.

What would you do with $25,000?

Invest! I would love to open a cafe that features my art, as well as local artists. I would also love to open an art gallery that transitions into a Haunted House from September through October. The gallery would be decorated with decor I’ve made personally from recycled/upcycled materials. My goal is to donate a portion of every ticket sold for the gallery to various charities and foundations to help our youth.
