Why I love to create art: It’s none of your business. Do you like the art or not?
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Honestly, I don’t have one. Yeah, it’s cliché to say that but I’ve seen amazing works from graffiti, paintings, sculptures, digital art, shoe designs, legos, architecture and even ketchup on a napkin. I know, ketchup on a napkin. Sounds dumb until you see the video of the super size me guy get drawn out with ketchup for paint and a French fry for a brush over a McDonald’s food tray. I say that to say If all I had was ketchup and a napkin to make art with, I’d be fine with that.
Where do you find inspiration?I don’t fight with my inner thoughts, whatever comes to mind is what I’ll make. If it’s something that will piss people off then I know it’s good. Still, my focus is never to piss people off, but if it happens then so be it. My true focus lies on what’s true and what’s not been covered topic wise, scenery wise, color wise, all that. I just want to be honest.
What would you do with $25,000?I will get rid of my debt and the rest, honestly, I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll do my own art exhibit at the park or an empty suite. Maybe I’ll throw the biggest pizza party in the San Fernando Valley just to come up with an excuse to bring everyone in the community closer! Maybe I’ll use the money to get my Nose fixed. Maybe I’ll buy land in Mexico and move out there. Maybe I’ll switch up on everyone and get my nails painted like a rich kid, who knows?
