Painting and photography: reduced, figurative, with clear visual language and strong color contrasts. I work intuitively and process-based, often also blindly (blindARTe), when words no longer carry meaning. My works arise from inner states and affect the space around them, changing perception and emotion. Each work is unique and never reproduced.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from my work as a social scientist, art therapist and from direct encounters with people. Community, urban society, politics, and religion are spaces where I perceive tensions, fractures and connections. This is where my works emerge, where words fail and something wants to become visible.
What would you do with $25,000?Ich würde mein Leben so strukturieren, dass ich vollständig von meiner Kunst leben kann. Gleichzeitig würde ich KUNST RESET und meine LuraViva-Methode weiterentwickeln, um Menschen durch Kunst wieder in Verbindung mit sich selbst zu bringen, dort wo Worte nicht mehr tragen.
