What is your favorite type of art to create?

Definitely nature through stippling/pointillism. I love taking something huge and wild like a forest canopy or a stormy sky and rebuilding it with thousands of tiny dots. It’s like I’m sneaking up on nature one speck at a time. No lines, no shortcuts, just pure patience. The best part is when you step back and suddenly those dots aren’t dots anymore… they’re light through leaves or texture on a rock. Feels like I’m collaborating with nature she gives me the subject, I give her the time.

Where do you find inspiration?

Remote places, mostly. The quieter and wilder it is, the more I notice cracked bark, wind on water, light hitting a cliff face everything in nature give me temptation to see its details, That’s the stuff I want to rebuild with stippling, dot by dot.

What would you do with $25,000?

First thing, I’d set some aside for charity there’s always someone who needs it more than I do. Then I’d get my wife something she’s wanted for a while, because she deserves it. With what’s left, we’d put it toward a reliable old car. Nothing flashy, just something solid that gets us where we need to go without the stress of payments. Practical, grateful, and a little bit of joy in there too.
