Where do you find inspiration?In recent years i have come to understand that i'm a philosopher using art to express philosophical ideas instead of the usual way of writing and lectures... The text of my philosophy is built into my graphic digital collages which are like visual remixes and in my films... i find inspiration in resistance to cultural and political hegemony... i find it in asking the questions that prevailing power structures would rather no one asked... I find it in the wonders of science and philosophy...
What would you do with $25,000?Pay off the credit card bills i've accumulated making art... so i can rack up more charges to make more art... Maybe make another film... Maybe buy a new cinema camera... Maybe buy another large format printer... Definitely buy a nice supply of paper and ink for my current large format printer... Go on a much needed vacation and take my girlfriend who has supported my work these past 36 years... (she deserves it)...
