i adore making miniature art like custom figures, dolls, and dioramas. it’s always so fun to make my own little scenes and worlds that my figures/dolls can live in! miniatures are my absolute favorite form of art because there are infinite tiny possibilities to create.
Where do you find inspiration?i truly find inspiration everywhere every day. i see something, for example a bed or energy drink can, and immediately think “how can i make that but small?” it’s something i do naturally, and i have so many ideas written down from daily life with a step-by-step plan on how to make them. popsicle sticks, buttons, even cut up hot glue sticks. anything can be made into something, even “trash” like cereal boxes for bed frames or bottle caps for desk chairs!
What would you do with $25,000?i would purely fund my art and the future of my own career creating what i love. a 3d printer and laser cutter to help create even more realistic things for dioramas/dollhouses, a more efficient workspace and organization, anything to help me grow my art and resources to create what i love and share it with more and more people. my dream is to have a diorama and figure i create in an exhibit so people can see all the detail i put in up close, and this amazing opportunity will open that door!
