As an Indigenous woman, I focus on creating art that is inspired by my cultural beliefs, connections to Creator, celebrating Mother Earth and my Clan system. I am a strong advocate for the underprivileged, unheard and unseen. I am who my ancestors prayed for, I am the resistance.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature, all earthly and sky creatures. In those who society who are marginalized and forgotten. Images comes from that sacred space between wake and dreamworld.
What would you do with $25,000?Most likely would gift a portion to local shelters or to the national Missing Murdered Indigenous women campaign to continue raise awareness. I would really love to take art classes as I have no formal training.
