I’m especially drawn to collage because it allows me to give new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded. There’s something meaningful about reusing and reimagining, taking what was once overlooked and transforming it into something intentional, expressive, and beautiful.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the beauty that surrounds us every day, moments where the sun lights up a hillside, or when the clouds billow and feel almost majestic. Those are the moments that stay with me and fuel my ideas, push me to experiment, and fill me with a creativity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to create a line of art dedicated to veterans, capturing meaningful moments and recreating them through collage and sculpture. I want to take real experiences, emotions, and memories, and turn them into something people can see and feel. My goal is to honor their sacrifice while bringing a sense of beauty and connection to those moments. By layering materials and reimagining pieces, I can create work that feels both powerful and intentional, something that tells a story and keeps
