Choosing a favorite type of art is difficult. I designed my own clothes in high school; I tie-died everything in the 60’s; I have been a bellydancer - creating my own costumes; I have made jewelry by wire twisting and beading; studying photography, I added photoshop into the mix; now, I paint in oil and acrylic; mixed media is fun, painting with thick texture adding in text and feathers and stones, etc. I like to experiment. At this time, I guess mixed media art would be my choice.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in other artist from the past and present, from nature and dreams, from my mind and spirit. Inspiration is everywhere.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would pay off my charge cards and make some repairs on my house. Maybe buy some art supplies or shelves to store and organize the supplies that I have. I would also make a donation to Tyler County Art League in Texas, for all the good work they do in the community, not to mention that their gallery in Woodville displays and sells my art.
