Receive Text UpdatesMy favorite type of art to create is abstract art that carries meaning and emotion. I love using color, texture, and movement to express healing, faith, and transformation in a way that words sometimes can not. Each piece I create is intentional. I want to speak to the heart, shift the atmosphere of a space, and remind people of hope, peace, and restoration.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in God: my faith, everyday life, and the emotions people carry but don’t always express. Spending time with God, because I get creative ideas and a sense of peace that flows into my work. I’m also inspired by colors in nature, different environments. And the idea that any space can be transformed into something meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?If I win the $25,000, I will use it to help launch Love Manor a place dedicated to helping women heal, grow, and walk in their God-given purpose. This vision is bigger than art. Art has allowed me to connect with and encourage women in meaningful ways, including helping one woman and her two daughters start businesses and supporting the launch of her first book. The funding would help create programs that empower women through mentorship, personal development, resume-building and much more.
