Every time I create, I’m reminded that art doesn’t just produce something tangible; It restores & heals.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love all forms of art and experimenting with varying mediums although the majority of my time is delegated toward mandala painting. It became an instantaneous love for me when I started in 2023. When I channel my attention and thoughts into creating each mandala, I am fully present within that moment. The sense of inner peace and stillness I find while painting mandalas, I regularly attempt to integrate into my every day life.
Where do you find inspiration? For mandala work especially, inspiration tends to show up in patterns, symmetry and repetition in the world that surrounds me. I just start seeing the world differently once I tap in and fully tune into it. I am also equally inspired by other artists and people’s energies, as well as the shifts within myself and my personal world.
What would you do with $25,000?While I do not think I will be the winner of $25,000 by any stretch of the imagination, this could be life-changing for me since it would alleviate some of my financial stress due to ongoing medical issues.
