I create art to reveal human emotion through form, texture, and presence.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is sculpture and mixed media work. I enjoy building forms with texture, volume, and expressive surfaces, creating pieces that feel human, emotional, and physically
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in human emotion, memory, struggle, and transformation. Faces, gestures, silence, and the physical presence of materials inspire me. My Cuban background and my life in Tampa also influence the way I connect culture, identity, and personal experience. I am especially interested in how the human figure can express strength, vulnerability, and hope at the same time.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 in materials, tools, and studio development to create a stronger body of sculpture and mixed media work. It would help me build larger pieces, improve my workspace, document my art professionally, and reach more galleries, collectors, and public art opportunities.
