I love to explore emotions, dreams, fears & desires and turn them into visual art forms that reflect these human experiences.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My art is the ancient art of Pyrography, the art of burning images into wood by hand. It allows me to create a sense of permanency, as though each piece becomes part of the wood’s own story rather than something simply placed upon it. I work with surreal, fantasy elements creating mystical creatures and worlds.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in dreams, folklore, nature, and the darker corners of imagination, blending emotion, symbolism, and storytelling into pieces that feel both haunting and timeless. I love to explore the darker side of the human experience playing with often surreal and fantastical worlds and beings. I want my art to invoke emotion and wonder to those who view it.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I’d invest in growing my art career, creating larger statement pyrography pieces, upgrading equipment and display setups, attending high-end art fairs, and building a stronger online presence to bring my work to a wider audience. I’d also love to give back to the local community by running workshops and creative sessions that encourage younger people to explore art, creativity, and self-expression through different mediums.
