Create art is just find the path of your life and walk through it
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like everyday art — unpretentious art that can emerge from the doodles you make during a phone call, from a sudden spark that comes to you in the middle of the night and wakes you up, or simply from the repetition of an ordinary event that suddenly makes you understand something profound. I like creating open art, art that can be seen through different lenses and evoke different emotions.
Where do you find inspiration? In the everyday, the popular, what we share in common and what allows us not to feel alone — in that common place that could become an alternative reality where we can live.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000 prize, I’d probably start by getting an iPad Pro, since I make most of my art on an iPad Air right now and it would really help my process. I’d also buy some art books and music that inspire me, take a small trip with my wife, and invest in myself in general — learning, growing, and giving myself more space to create.
