I've developed a passion for painting with oil paint. Impressionism is the realm I focus on. Developing impressions of people, flowers, and animals. It is my favorite because it is almost realistic but with an abstract flair. It is seeing moments in my eyes.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration usually comes from dreams or when I catch a glimpse of something beautiful. Its similar to when a singer here's a rhythm or a note and they feel the need to create and finish the song that is playing in their head. That can be a glimpse of a building or while watching a romantic movie or even having a walk with my dog. The world is inspiring and the emotions I've experienced have a depth that paint can help me express.
What would you do with $25,000?It would be a big step for a space to create. AKA; a home. I've never had much room to paint. Its been cramped, but I guess it squeezes creativity out of me. However, to have a studio, I'd be set free to conduct any creative experiment and live with room to stretch and be in a good community to walk my dog. It would be money for a new start and footing into my next steps and an artist and an author.
