Art lets me transform raw feeling into something tangible, it is a way to share what words alone can’t hold.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I work across painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture, it is a multidisciplinary practice rooted in my Fine Art degree from the University of North Florida. Each medium offers something different: painting for emotion and immediacy, printmaking for process and precision, sculpture for physicality. I am a welder and metal engineer as well and love to bring that into my art. I’m drawn to work that lives at the intersection of these forms, where one discipline informs and challenges another.
Where do you find inspiration? In everyday life, human connection, and the world/ nature around me in Jacksonville, FL. I find inspiration in the tension between what we observe and what we feel, the gap between reality and perception. My work across multiple mediums keeps me curious and constantly learning, and that pursuit of growth is itself a source of fuel.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest in studio space and materials to expand my multidisciplinary practice and make more original work available to collectors who believe art should live in everyday spaces, not just galleries.
