I love human expression made heard, visible, or felt--maybe understood, often misunderstood yet sparking a new vision. I express it anyway.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
To capture a moment is to preserve a piece of life that time can never truly erase. Memories that stand still—held close enough to reminisce about, yet still visible before our eyes—become a beautiful reminder of where we’ve been and what we’ve felt. There is something unforgettable about turning fleeting seconds into preserved art, allowing beauty, emotion, and meaning to live on far beyond the moment itself. Each captured memory becomes a doorway back to joy and love.
Where do you find inspiration? My mentors are my greatest inspiration. Funny enough, they aren’t photographers—they’re muralists who helped guide me toward my creative purpose and taught me to see art beyond a canvas. Through their wisdom and encouragement, I found my own voice in capturing moments and turning memories into something timeless. Now, I carry that purpose forward by educating and inspiring youth, teaching them how powerful it is to preserve stories, emotions, and experiences through the lens of creativity.
What would you do with $25,000?What used to be a recording studio at my local Boys & Girls Club—the same place I grew up in for 14 years and now work at—has the potential to inspire youth again. With the right equipment and opportunities, this space can help kids explore creativity and shape their future. I would also upgrade my own gear, investing in my growth, building my brand, and creating more ways to mentor and give back through art, media, and storytelling for the next generation.
