My favorite style of art is Abstract Realism, as it beautifully balances expressive playfulness with refined technical detail. I’m especially drawn to painting animals and wildlife because I believe they carry a natural, uplifting energy that brings a sense of joy and connection. Through layered textures and vibrant colors, I aim to capture and translate that positive energy onto my canvas, creating pieces that evoke happiness and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspired from childhood by the wonders of National Geographic and Animal Planet, my creative journey is rooted in a deep appreciation for the world’s ecosystems and the vibrant energy they embody. My practice is defined by a bold use of color, dynamic textures, and a playful experimentation with materials including acrylics and unconventional elements such as sawdust.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I’d step away from my full-time job to fully pursue my art. I’d travel to wildlife-rich destinations, especially safaris, where I can live-paint animals in their natural habitat. This experience would inspire new collections filled with raw energy, textures, and vibrant colors, helping me grow both creatively and professionally while spreading joy through my work.
