I love art because it changes how I see the world and deepens my understanding of human emotion and empathy.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am drawn to creating oil paintings that move beyond the limits of visible reality, where the external world dissolves into an intimate, emotional scene. Through distortion of form, fluid shapes, and expressive color, I translate inner states into visual language. My work is not concerned with accuracy, but with truth—subjective and deeply personal. Sometimes my composition emerges as a reflection of perception rather than observation, to experience not what is seen, but what is felt.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in movement and immersion—through long walks, listening to classical music, and experiencing the intensity of opera and choreography. These moments open a space for reflection, where emotion, rhythm, and narrative begin to take shape within me. Reading and engaging with new ideas deepens this process, connecting me to broader questions about reality and the human condition. My search continues for meaning to express empathy, complexity, and the quiet depth of human experience.
What would you do with $25,000?If I am fortunate to receive financial rewards, I would dedicate a portion to supporting organizations such as the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation, contributing to efforts that work to prevent gun violence in schools. I would also invest in exhibiting my artwork creating opportunities to share my vision with a wider audience. Travel is important to me—not only as a source of inspiration, but as a way to deepen my education by immersing myself in different cultures by understanding the world.
