Art is everything I have—what I live for. In my darkest moments, it’s the only light I see and the only thing that keeps me going.

I love Chicano art—the style, the culture, the feeling behind it—but I don’t like putting myself in just one box. I’m into all kinds of art as long as it actually means something and makes people feel. And allows me to express myself. For me, art isn’t just what I do, it’s everything I am. It’s how I process things, and honestly what keeps me going.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration in Frida Kahlo—the way she turned her life, even the painful parts, into art without holding back. Regardless, if it made people uncomfortable That kind of honesty always stuck with me. I also get inspired by artists I see every day, whether it’s on Instagram, in the real world, or people around me creating in their own way. Inspiration is everywhere for me.
What would you do with $25,000?I know my answer might sound a little simple, but honestly I’d save it and use it to finally get myself on track. I’ve worked hard my whole life and I’m going to keep working hard regardless, but this would give me the chance to actually put myself first for once. I’d invest it into my future, my growth, and building something stable for myself. I’d be insanely grateful. And make sure I don’t waist the opportunity.
