I love Portrait art, I have painted portraits on many different medium, but repurposing old unplayable vinyl records into something that be proudly displayed on a wall humbles me and fills me with gratitude. I love southwest art (indigenous fancy dancers, etc.) I've painted a few in large canvases. The color and costumes these dancers wear are put together with time, effort, and influenced by culture. Music is my other art form.
Where do you find inspiration?The subjects I choose to paint have some significant meaning to me. Whether it be a role they played in a movie, a song that touched my heart that they created, I find comfort in making a moment that meant to me last in art form.
What would you do with $25,000?I rely on social media to further our reach because I don't have the ability to drive to art shows, festivals or First Friday artworks due to the lack of a reliable vehicle. Investing in that as well as a tent for outside displays, and anything else that would make it easier for me to show my work in a professional manner would mean so much to me. And to invest in my work studio, paying for the space ahead of time and the materials I need to continue what I do.
