I love working on canvas of all sizes. I have become engulfed in creations I've made with acrylic, ink, and resin blends. I'm beginning to incorporate texture into even those. I like to consider myself an unorthodox innovative canvas artist.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from a variety of places. To begin with, my late mother is my greatest inspiration. My children and my partner in life are also my anchor inspirations with the art that I create. More than anything, I've found that creating art in the way in which I have discovered and continue to explore serves as one form of therapy while grieving and reflecting. It in itself serves as inspiration from just observing the pieces I've created before creating the next.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would take a huge chunk of it and use it to travel and take stage to share my story, while creating pieces live in hopes of creating a therapeutic environment and experience. The remainder of the funds I would use to find a place that I can have as a studio to continue to create and share my art with those that are drawn to it.
