I create to preserve legacy—turning overlooked stories into powerful visual history that educates, inspires, and endures.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create contemporary digital portraiture that honors Black history, culture, and innovation. My work focuses on elevating overlooked figures—blending historical research with modern techniques to produce gallery-quality visuals that feel both timeless and current. Each piece is designed not just to be seen, but to educate, spark conversation, and live as a statement within a space.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from history—especially the untold and underrepresented stories within Black culture. I’m driven by the lives of trailblazers, innovators, and cultural icons whose impact hasn’t always been fully recognized. I also draw from music, film, and everyday moments that reflect identity, resilience, and excellence. Every piece begins with research and evolves into a visual narrative that bridges past and present.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into scaling my studio and expanding the reach of Black Digital Art—funding new collections, larger-format prints, and strategic marketing to position the work in higher-end spaces. A portion would go toward creating a legacy series that documents influential Black figures, ensuring their stories are preserved and accessible through powerful visual storytelling.
