I love doing large pencil drawings because I noticed you don't really see that on displayed and I wanna show everyone something special.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create narrative or story telling drawings. I want to viewer to have a sense of feeling when they look at my artwork. Whether it's a spaceman appreciating the view, a child waiting for the tide to catch him, the viewer enjoying the peaceful scenery, or trying to give deep sense of thought or meaning. It's why I always change my subject because I try to show many different themes and I don't want to be an artist that just draws one theme. I wanna challenge myself and show I can do more.
Where do you find inspiration? So this is what I love doing, this is me. Drawing is a big part of my life and I love showing and talking about my artwork. Creating my artwork feels like I'm trying to tell a story and I'm so motivated to put many hours into my drawings to get every detail I can in them. My artwork is literally a part of me and I'm so happy to get everything I can into them. Not myself but for the artwork and the viewer.
What would you do with $25,000?To be completely honest I'm not sure what I do with the money because drawing my artwork was never about money, it was about the artwork itself. Yes I display my artwork, yes I try to sell them but really I just want my artwork to find a new home with someone who will appreciate my artwork as much as me. So probably try to build up my artwork so others can have something new and hopefully special in their homes.
