I Love to create art because I feel that it is a powerful instrument of expression. It allows me to share my innermost feelings in color.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Mostly all of the art that I love to create has some sort of a background of pain & suffering, also of struggle. Because that’s what my innermost feelings have shown me most of my life. It brings me alot of joy to be able to express these feelings on Canvas.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration to paint started at a very young age. When I was in first grade I would mix colors together by melting my crayons on the classroom Heater. I loved colors and was always fascinated by them. I went to Private school and the teachers were nuns so they were very strict. Lol. My mother saw my interest in art and entered me into an art contest at the local library and I won $50 dollars. I was so excited. As an artist I feel I get a chance to escape reality. I go into a special space.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to help the homeless. I would also like to feed the hungry.
