I’ve made art all my life. I’m now 68 years old. It is a part of my daily routine and it just seems natural that I continue to make it.

I like to make acrylic paintings but I also create woodcuts and linocuts. My work tends to be realistic with magic, surreal elements included into the realism.
Where do you find inspiration? The paintings I shared were in a series I call, UrbanScapes. The UrbanScapes start with scenes of urban areas in Oshkosh, Wisconsin with memory and fanciful elements inserted into the scenes. My inspiration starts with the city scenes and is completed with memory or fantasy images that feel right with the scenes.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m not sure. I think I would buy a few more art supplies and probably take my wife on a long, overdue vacation trip. Some I would save and I would also donate to the local animal shelter. We are not big spenders.
