Sureal and traditional watercolors .....water, because when one attempts to create a waterscape you paint every aspect other than water the artist paints translucense reflections transparency texture etc..
Where do you find inspiration?I apply a wash on wet paper and run the wash by tilting the paper.... add pigment and see what is appearing add visual clues . ..other times I have a picture in mind and proceed in a traditional way..... trial and error and still i start with wet paper....the third order of abstraction
