Sports photography is easily my favorite type of art to create. It takes patience, perseverance and persistence to capture an image that shows both joy and disappointment. The ability to adapt to the unpredictability of hockey is imperative.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration for sports photography relies heavily on anticipation. Whether its a player skating into the offensive zone or a goalie going down in anticipation of a shot on goal. More images can be found on my Instagram page @hkyphotographer
What would you do with $25,000?Winning the $25,000 prize would be like winning the lottery. I would use it to pay off bills, upgrade my photography equipment. The remaining funds would be invested.
