Creating art is my ultimate escape from the negatives that surround us in this world today. Creating is the ultimate gift that gives back

I enjoy creating animation art, reliving cartoons that I grew up watching as a kid and sometimes even still to this very day as an adult. Nostalgia has always been important to me and the art I create brings back happy memories, times where it was simple just being a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons or in my case, the cartoons that aired after school let out. I focus heavily on anime style arts but still am versatile in other areas that can come off abstract.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the desire to seek out peace in my life. Our lives are always filled with trials and tribulations. People deal with constant stress in life. This inspires me to create a sense of peace to counter the times of hardship. Looking back on nostalgic cartoons, I’m always eager to recreate the many characters onto canvas as the process brings me peace and tranquil in a chaotic world
What would you do with $25,000?Pay back my mother for raising me by herself for all the 37 years I’ve been here so far. Due to my father’s passing, she carried the weight of caring for me alone. She still watches over me in my adult years and I seek to find my artistic path in life. I had vowed to pay my mother back for her unrelenting commitment to being a parent and making sure I’m shaped into the best human being I can possibly be. My mother has a big heart and mine was developed the same.
