I love photography because it turns moments, emotion, and hidden beauty into art that lasts forever.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to capture is photography because it allows me to preserve emotion, beauty, and stories in a single moment. I’m especially drawn to abandoned places, where decay and forgotten history create haunting beauty. Nature inspires me through its raw landscapes, changing seasons, and peaceful energy. People interest me because every face and expression tells a unique story. Through photography, I can blend mystery, life, and emotion into art.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired to capture abandoned places because they hold stories that time tried to erase. Every peeling wall, broken window, and forgotten room feels like a glimpse into lives once lived and moments long gone. Photography lets me preserve that hidden history, turning decay into something meaningful and beautiful. I’m drawn to the mystery, the silence, and the feeling of stepping into a world frozen in time.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the prize money to complete the final step of my long dental journey by getting my dental implants. All of the hard work has already been done, and the implants are the last piece needed to fully restore my smile. It would improve my confidence, comfort, and quality of life.
