I create art to turn memory, music, icons, and emotion into visual stories people can recognize, feel, and remember.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is mixed-media collage on canvas, where pop culture, music, cinema, humor, and personal memory come together. I love layering icons, words, and unexpected symbols, then sealing them in epoxy resin so each piece feels bold, permanent, and alive.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in memory, music, cinema, street culture, humor, and the icons that shaped generations. I’m drawn to the contrast between nostalgia and today’s visual chaos( old legends, modern symbols, brands, jokes, emotions, and fragments of everyday life. My work begins where those worlds collide.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to take my art from a personal creative practice into a more professional body of work. I would invest in materials, larger canvases, resin finishing, framing, professional photography, studio space, and the development of a new collection of mixed-media pop-culture collage pieces. I would also use part of the funds to exhibit the work, build a proper artist portfolio, and make the pieces ready for collectors, galleries, and interior spaces.
